Task 1 You have seen a film you think your friend would enjoy. Write a letter to your friend then about the film. Explain why you enjoyed it and recommand that they see it.
Dear Josephine,
It’s me again! Last Sunday, I watched a film called “ KungFu Pango’. As you know, I like the traditional Chinese types of movie like ‘KungFu Pango’, but you like this type of movie too.
‘KungFu Pango’ describes a pango whose name is Jill in the movie, trying his best to learn Chinese KungFu. I like this film very much because of three things. To begin with, Mr.Jill is a struggling prentice for his teacher, and he studies hard every day to improve his skills in Chinese KungFu. A second point, I think people will agree with the traditional thinking about the fight, because today’s society runs short of it. Finally, it is obvious that this movie teaches the young people about various truths, so I believe that is the reason why it is very popular.
Fortunately, I still have two tickets for this movie and I will send them to you by post express. I wish you to enjoy this film with your husband.
Hope you enjoy your day.
Loves,
Jane
Task 2 Many newspaper, magazines and television programmes make money by reporting on the private lives of public figures such as politicians, sports personalities and entertainers. While the media’s right to freedom of expression should be defended, the media should not intrude into people’s private affairs.
In today’s society, a lot of mass medias organizations create many programmes, aimed at making money. It is obvious that most people debate the phenomenon that the media which are very popular should not spend much time on earning money. In my mind, I think this is a bad phenomenon while the mass media organizations repeat those programmes again and again and I also disagree with this statement.
To begin with, today’s mass medias, such as newspaper, magazines and television programmers, spend a lot of money to create a programme which people do not like to watch. For example, the fighting news offer program by directly on the open-air, people feel very tired while they usually watch those. A second point, the mess media report explosive news such as politicians’ news, sport news and others. Therefore, people do not understand why the mass media never care about their real living thing in many social areas, because those are the useful news for them and people really care about those news.
Obviously, I suggest that the mass media decrease the number of these programmes, such as the programmes related to politics and entertainment. People should feel happier that the mass media have become the civilian media whether they should do that in a reasonable and suitable improvement for their programmes. Secondly, the mass media should care about the common confidence. Besides, they should decrease the benefit which comes from the ADs and others programmes in which people are not interested.
To sum up, I believe that the mass media should aim at common confidence.Perhaps it would be a better choice for them. In fact, they should preserve the public benefit for the society. I think that they will get more confidence from most people. As a result, they need to pay more attention in people’s lives.

Dear student,
You have answered both tasks. However, there are too many mistakes in both of them. Some of your sentences are illogical. You should pay more attention to grammar, prepositions, word order, singular and plural, etc. Please see the corrections!!
